My journey as a native online conversation teacher
My school journey
Like many, I learned languages at school... but never really spoke them.
I studied Spanish for 10 years and English a little more, for 12 years. But when I arrived in Mexico for a university exchange program, it was impossible to have a real conversation. Everything I had learned stayed stuck in my head. I had words, ideas, but it was impossible to form real sentences to converse! What frustration for me! I had studied for years for this result... It was a great disappointment and especially a moment of great panic every time I had to start a conversation!
Then, during an internship at a university in California, it was the same thing: I understood English, but I had trouble expressing myself naturally... It was the same story over and over again...
When everything changed...
What I had learned wasn't enough. I was lacking concrete practice, human feedback, and real-life situations to progress. So I changed my method. I started practicing every day, listening to content, reading, writing, speaking, even if it wasn't perfect. And above all, I had guidance, corrections, and encouragement.
I then lived in Mexico City for 5 years. There, I met some very dear friends with whom I continue to speak Spanish daily. Today, I am trilingual. And most importantly, I know exactly what it's like to have learned a language... without really daring to speak it.
That's why I created the French Talk Studio: a simple, lively, manual-free space for speak French again in real situations and to be able to share my mother tongue with the methods I used to become trilingual.

A few anecdotes about me (Languages, learning, and multilingual living): what inspired me to create my online courses.
I grew up in a small French village
I was born between Lyon and Grenoble, in a quiet village surrounded by fields and cows. Both my parents were teachers, so I grew up in an environment filled with books, dinner table debates, and curiosity about the world. The desire to teach came naturally to me.
I lived in Mexico, California... and now in Barcelona.
I studied in Toulouse, worked in Paris, and then lived abroad: a university exchange in Mexico, an internship in California... and today, I live in Barcelona, where I'm learning Catalan. Traveling and living in other languages taught me what it really feels like when you want to speak...
I speak three languages every day (and I keep learning)
I speak French, Spanish, and English daily, with my loved ones, my friends, and my students. But even after all these years, I still make mistakes! I watch movies, I listen to podcasts, I jot down words… Learning never stops.
